Laughing Stock Farm (LSF) was founded in 1979 when Terry and Mary Lynn Riggs moved to Fletcher from Jericho, VT and began raising sheep, horses and other live stock. LSF Forest Products, LLC was started in 2003 as a father-son partnership between Terry and Tucker. For more than 15 years, LSF has provided high quality, handcrafted lumber to contractors, homeowners, and hobbyists across Northern Vermont.

A local, family-run business.
Terry is an entrepreneur with more than 40 years experience working with engineers and tradesmen in the building sector. Tucker studied forestry and wood science at the University of Maine and Paul Smith’s College. Together they bring a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience to LSF products.
Laughing Stock Farm is a family business, made successful with support from Terry’s wife, Mary Lynn, and Tucker’s wife, Jensen, and their three kids, Magnus, Josie, and Mia.
